Collection of Personal Information

Personally Identifiable Information
Refers to information that tells us specifically who you are in the PERA accounting system.   Examples of this information include: Name, Account Number, Organization Name, Organization Number, and all other information referenced by those identifiers.

PERA will collect this information for the purpose of assisting you online, reporting and tracking of internal errors, and auditing of transactions.  You must have an account and have logged into the PERA system before PERA can collect this information.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

PERA will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.  

Cookies

When you visit PERA, you can surf the site anonymously and access important information without revealing your identity.  In order to improve our site, we use "cookies" to track your visit.  A cookie is small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you.   It functions as your anonymous identification card.  It cannot be executed as code, deliver viruses, or read information from your computer.
